It has been a long and complicated year, so what better way to share a little bit of festive cheer than with our very own virtual SIBN Christmas Party.
We will incorporate a Christmas themed Pub Quiz. The idea is to have fun and keep it light hearted, so the questions won’t be too cerebral, rather jolly and based on Christmas themes like carols, movies, food & beverage, number one hits etc. You will keep your own score, so no cheating please!

We also thought we could play our part in the “Fill Your Heart with Ireland” campaign being run by Tourism Ireland and we would encourage everyone participating to change your background to an image of Ireland. Tourism Ireland have provided us with a library of beautiful Irish landmarks to use but feel free to use your own photo of a favourite place if you prefer.

Should you have a burning desire to sport that Christmas jumper with Santa boldly emblazoned on the front, that your Auntie Nellie knit for you, then please don’t hesitate. Or indeed feel free to wear any other gaudy paraphernalia that takes your fancy – accessories like glittering earrings, Santa hats, Rudolf antlers etc will be most welcome. And please do ask your partner, spouse, other half, flat-mate or whoever might be lurking in the background to join us too.
Make sure you have a drink of your favourite tipple to hand 🥂 – water, beer, wine, G&T, uisce beath the list is endless – whatever floats your boat. And we may even practice some Christmas carols!
