What Drives Us

Fostering Spain-Ireland Business Relations & Meaningful Connection

While we are a business network, we are also deeply committed to giving back to the community, as our Irish roots and heart inspire us to do. Through charity balls, fundraising events, and business partnerships, SIBN has helped improve lives while strengthening Irish-Spanish connections, ensuring that our presence in Spain is one of both professional collaboration and meaningful social impact.

For 16 years, the Spanish Irish Business Network (SIBN) has actively supported charities in Spain and Ireland, raising funds for causes such as: Cudeca Hospice, LauraLynn Children’s Hospice, Debra, William’s Syndrome, RAIS Fundación España,  Peter McVerry TrustMadrid Food Bank , Heart Children Ireland, Menudos Corazones, Barretstwon Children’s Charity and Hospital Niño Jesús

Via the 2025 St. Patrick’s Charity Ball, the SIBN committee has chosen to support two charities supporting families with Neurophysical disorders via Madreperla & Crann Centre.

We are also the local champions for the Madrid Run In The Dark, a charity founded by Irish man Mark Pollock that raises funds globally for a cure for paralysis in this lifetime.

If you’re in Madrid in November, watch out for the date and come run with us (5k or 10k) in Retiro Park!!

Diverse industries—including technology, finance, agro-food, property, and pharmaceuticals

With over 1,800 members spanning diverse industries—including technology, finance, agro-food, property, and pharmaceuticals—the SIBN is a dynamic Spanish Irish Trade Network.

At the heart of SIBN is a commitment to fostering Spain-Ireland connections and business relations and creating meaningful opportunities for collaboration.
